The Scooterson app

The Scooterson app is the key to your Rolley+: it starts the scooter, unlocks the battery bay, and warns you when someone tampers with it. Rolley has no app connection.

The app is in private beta for iOS and Android. Ask for your invite on the iOS or Android app page.

Add and activate your Rolley+

  1. Install the Scooterson app and create your account.
  2. Tap Add a Vehicle.
  3. Scan the QR code on your Rolley+ with the app. Your Rolley+ now appears in your Garage.

Allow the app to use Bluetooth when it asks: it talks to your scooter over Bluetooth.

Start and stop Rolley+

  1. In your Garage, tap Go to open the Rolley+ dashboard.
  2. Press and hold the slider, then slide it to the right. The scooter’s display turns on.
  3. Sit down, then press the safety lock button (P) on the left handlebar to enable the throttle.

To switch off, slide the slider to the left. The display turns off.

Start the scooter only once you are seated. When you get off, or show the scooter to someone, press P first: the display shows P, and the throttle stays off so nobody can make the scooter move by accident.

Protection against theft

Rolley+ can only be started from the app: there is no other way to switch it on.

If someone pushes or moves Rolley+ while it is parked, the wheel locks, it beeps, the alarm sounds, the lights flash and the app sends you a notification. You can silence the alarm from the app. Where theft is a risk, set the alarm to High under Dashboard → Configuration → Alarm.

The battery bay

The app also locks and unlocks the battery bay under the footboard. The steps are in charging and battery care.

Something not working?

  • Check that Bluetooth is on and that your phone is close to the scooter.
  • Make sure you have the latest version of the app.
